Moscow State Circus

A unique television occasion recorded at the Novoye Zdanye Tsirka.
Acclaimed as being the finest of its kind in the world, stars from the MOSCOW STATE ORDER OF LENIN CIRCUS present their talents, skills and artistry in this rare special television performance. Within the Soviet Union circus is considered the artistic and cultural equal of opera and ballet with its own academy of learning, and many of tonight's performers are graduates from the Moscow Circus School.
And among tonight's performers of tumblers, acrobats, wire-walkers, animal trainers and clowns are
Valentina and Oleg Chepyakovi : presenting their remarkable act of Russian bears and horses
Schukin and Serebyakov: two of the world's funniest and most talented clowns
Galina Kholopova : with white doves, she presents grace and ballet on ice
Olga and Sarbat Begbudy: with their two lovable elephants whose talents know no bounds
Mai: the supreme solo clown and The Volzhanskis: unchallenged as the greatest wire-walking act in the world
