Shell Oils British Grand Prix For the first time the British Grand Prix comes from Donington Park, the highlight being the ninth round of the world series for the 500cc championship.
Competing over 30 laps of the 21-mile circuit are
EDDIE LAWSON , the current world champion, WAYNE GARDNER and RANDY MAMOLA , either of whom could take this year's title, and top British riders
RON HASLAM , NIALL MACKENZIE and ROB MCELNEA.
