Monty Don challenges five of Britain's top amateur gardeners to transform the bare plots of a new-build housing estate. They're all starting with an identical blank canvas, but this year the brief has changed to suit the needs of homeowners - show gardens are out, practicality is in. Monty follows their progress over a four-day period. How will they fare on the gruelling question-and-answer session? And what will the judging panel - which includes Joe Swift, Sarah Raven and Adam Pasco - make of their creations?
