What's bad news for Britain's East Coast fishermen, looks like being good news for Hebridean fishermen. EEC regulations and other restrictions have forced the UK fishing industry to look at alternatives to traditional fishing grounds - and traditional fish. And that could mean that the seas to the west of the Hebrides could become Europe's most important fishing grounds. And the blue whiting could become our most important catch.
