Tonight's film in a short season of Hollywood musicals from the golden era of the 30s stars Al Jolson, Madge Evans, Frank Morgan and Harry Langdon

In this unusual and charmingly ingenious film which switches deftly from light opera to serious drama, Bumper, a tramp, saves a girl from suicide after she has quarrelled with her lover. The girl has lost her memory and as the tramp takes care of her he finds himself falling in love.
