In 1992 a platoon of 16-year-old army recruits were subjected to violence and sexual degradation at the hands of their training officers, two of whom were court-martialled and imprisoned.
Now the victims are suing the Ministry of Defence to gain compensation for their mental and physical damage. Ludovic Kennedy tells their story and that of the preparations for the legal action.
