A play by Dannie Abse with Alfred Marks as Peter and Brian Smith as Aubrey Other parts played by Kenneth Hyde
The relationship of two men is explored through their attitudes to various objects in the room where the action of the play takes place. The ' objects ' used are: a carpet, a chair, a piece of bread and jam, a rope which hangs down from the ceiling as a noose, and so on. It is through these objects that their curious ambivalent relationship becomes defined and the background story unfolds. Produced by JOHN Gibson Third broadcast
