This play was broadcast on all Yugoslav radio stations in 1957 and again the following year by Radio Prague. In 1958 it was awarded first place at the Festival of Radio Drama at Novi-Sad and gained a special prize at the European Festival in Rome as the best radio drama production by Yugoslavia.
Its author, who is still in his early thirties, is a drama producer at Radio Zagreb. He has written several other radio plays as well as a number of short novels.
