DORA DAVID 
  Dora David first broadcast in 1923 from the old studio in Castle Street. She won the Duet Competition at the National Eisteddfod in Port Talbot in 1932, at her first attempt. She studied singing at the University College, Cardiff, where she gained the Music Diploma for pianoforte and singing. Later, she studied privately in London, and this year she won the Open Soprano Competition at Westminster Hall, the adjudicator being Dr. Parry Hull. BEN DATE 
Ben Date , one of the best-known baritones in the Principality, has been a frequent winner at National, Semi-National, and other Eisteddfodau, and is also popular on the Welsh concert platform. He has sung in oratorio, opera and in sacred cantatas. During the War he was attached to the 35th Divisional Concert Party in France for a considerable period. He made two successful tours of the United States of America and Canada as leading baritone of the Royal Glyndwr Male Voice Choir. DORA DAVID BEN DATE
