One half of the world does not know how the other half lives. This is a programme, not for farmers only, but for all listeners and more particularly for those who live in towns. From literary sources, from original dialogue and, it may be, with the help of actual scenes ' The Farming Year' will attempt to build up a picture of the farmer's interests and activities in the house and in the field at different seasons of the year.
