Odd-Jobs called at the Curio Shop with some articles he had found in the basement of an old house. Among them was a pistol and Mrs. Freeman, while examining it, managed to shoot poor Odd-Jobs. who is now in hospital. Dr. Robertson and Roddy Mackenzie have had a slight disagreement and each of them has given his views to Dr. Dale. Sheila Draycott has hinted that she expects Mrs. Dale to use her influence with the Council to grant a licence for her Club.
