That brilliant pianist Wilfrid Parry made his radio debut with a rendering of Haydn Wood's Piano Concerto in December, 1936. In June last year the Wilfrid Parry Pianoforte Quartet gave its first broadcast with Wilfrid Parry, piano, his wife, Eileen Grainger, viola, Anthony Pini, cello, and Joseph Shadwick, violin. Parry and Shadwick have given a number of sonata recitals together on the air. Now listeners are to hear Wilfrid Parry in a selection from the popular classics.
