Reinaldo, now 25, has been playing for Brazil since he was 17. He's been called the most intelligent footballer in Brazil, both on and off the pitch. This is a portrait of Reinaldo, of his team Atletico Mineiro and of the good-natured, exuberant fans-among them Eni dos Santos. Eni is a beautiful dark-skinned girl who goes to all of Atletico's matches. Observing the passionate fervour she brings to her support for Reinaldo and his team-mates, one can see how Brazilians have almost made football into a religious cult.
