Presenters this week, Valerie Pitts, Rick Jones
In the story chair, H. E. Todd

Two traditional festivals come close together this week. This evening is Hallowe'en and next Saturday is November 5, Guy Fawkes' Day. So today and Friday Rick and Valerie show some special games.
There is a variety of stories this week-today and on Wednesday H. E. Todd tells two stories: 'The Echo' and 'The Sick Cow'. On Tuesday Rick tells the traditional story of 'Cinderella', and on Thursday there is an animated cartoon story from Czechoslovakia about the adventures of a lion. The picturebook on Friday is 'The Sorcerers' Apprentice', by Elizabeth and Gerald Rose.
