An extravaganza by Ian Dougall
with

'Garrison' and 'Halibut' are the first and last words in a volume of one edition of the Encyclopaedia Britannica and Garrison Halibut also happens to be the name of the place where Ian Dougall's everyman acquires his experience. The play is an allegorical journey through a Hollywood-style Wild West, a free-form satire on some aspects of the Western, but also a disguised attack against the value of formal specialised knowledge when the student may in many respects turn out to be a 'social imbecile'.
