Cathy was adopted 35 years ago, a few weeks after she was born. She has never fully been told about the circumstances of her birth. Her adoptive parents kept whatever knowledge they had a closely guarded secret. But she has always felt a deep-rooted need to find her natural mother and when her adoptive parents died she set out to find her. That search was recorded as events took place.
