Today he celebrates the 40th anniversary of Prince's hit album Purple Rain. Released in 1984 as a soundtrack to the film of the same name, the album went to number 1 in the Billboard charts, sold millions of copies and earned Prince an Oscar for Original Song Score. Stuart looks back at the album and film, and plays a selection of his favourite tracks.
