Doing a little impromptu training on their way to Nimbasa City and Ash’s next Unova Gym Battle challenge, our heroes are suddenly visited by what appears to be a lone Cottonee. This is unusual, because - as Cilan explains, under normal circumstances, at this time of year, Cottenee come to nearby Rainbow Valley in large groups to find a mate and then ride the Diamond Breeze together - off to happiness.
