Today award-winning actor Samantha Morton joins Stuart to share her 'First, Last and Everything' - that’s the first record she owned, the most recent one she's enjoyed and the record that means ‘everything’ to her.

Samantha is an actor and director, known for her many roles on the big and small screen.  Her TV and film credits include The Whale, Minority Report, Jane Eyre and her award-winning directorial debut The Unloved.  She was recently awarded a BAFTA Fellowship Award.  This month she releases her first work as a musical artist.  In a collaboration with producer-songwriter Richard Russell, Samantha is releasing her debut album titled ‘Daffodils & Dirt.’  The collaboration came about when Richard got in touch with Samantha after hearing her on BBC Radio 4's Desert Island Discs in 2020 and the pair began sharing ideas for a sonic project.

As well as sharing her music choices, Samantha tells Stuart more about her work with Richard and the forthcoming new album.
