Known for novels such as 'Lucy Sullivan Is Getting Married', 'Rachel’s Holiday', 'Anybody Out There' and 'Grown Ups', Marian’s books have sold over 35 million copies worldwide. She's been translated into 33 languages, earning her critical acclaim and numerous awards, and she was named British Book Awards Author of the Year in 2022.

Besides writing fiction, Marian has penned two collections of journalism, and she also co- presents the popular BBC Radio 4 podcast 'Now You’re Asking' with actress Tara Flynn.
