Vernon Kay welcomes Neil Finn,  who is of course the founding member and frontman of award-winning, multi-million selling act Crowded House to pick his Tracks of My Years.

Vernon Kay welcomes to the studio for the second time this year Neil Finn. He is of course the founding member and frontman of award-winning, multi-million selling, global chart-topping act Crowded House. In February this year in “The Piano Room”, they gave us their tremendous performance of the fan favourite “Four Seasons In One Day”, plus a tremendous cover of Petula Clark’s “Downtown”. Today, he will be choosing songs that reflect his life in this week's omnibus edition of Tracks Of My Years.

With a career spanning nearly four decades, Crowded House have sold 15 million records worldwide, and collected 13 ARIA Awards, an MTV VMA, and a BRIT Award. Originally founded by Neil Finn, Nick Seymour, and the late Paul Hester, the band achieved global success, with songs like Don’t Dream It’s Over, Fall At Your Feet, Weather With You and many more.

In 1996, the group delivered a legendary 'farewell' performance to an audience of over 150,000 on the steps of the Sydney Opera House but reunited in 2007 and have gone from strength to strength.

At the end of this month, Crowded House will release their eighth studio album “Gravity Stairs” before going on a run of UK dates around the festival circuit in June.
