In Gaza, the fate of a ceasefire deal hangs in the balance. The Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu says the proposal accepted by Hamas was "far from Israel's basic requirements" but negotiations would continue. But what will the choices be for prime minister Netanyahu? Meanwhile, Israel's army has said it has conducted "targeted strikes" against Hamas in Rafah. We go live there.
