40 years on, the 1984 miner's strikes are still one of the most bitter industrial disputes Britain has even seen. Anna delves into the rich archives of folk music written about coalmining and the strikes and is joined live by Ayrshire folk musician Seán Gray. With strong personal links to coalmining, Seán's latest album Fixed Assets digs into the politics and poetry of Ayrshire Mining Communities in collaboration with Lallans Scots poet, Rab Wilson.
