Norman Wisdom stars as a small time cook who’s just come out of prison.

Hoping to go straight, he is entrusted to widow Natalie Mathews, who offers him a job and accommodation. 

Natalie asks Norman to lose an heirloom, but the heirloom just won't go away. 

And the psychiatrist next door wants to know why Norman's talking to trees?
