From side tables to chests of drawers, Charlie charts the evolving styles of furniture and takes us on a tour through the ages, from the Georgian era to the art deco years of the 1920s and 30s. Along the way, he uncovers items from the show's archive and counts down the most profitable pieces at auction.

Charlie also chats to antiques expert Tom Keane about the key trends in furniture design during the last 300 years, with tips on what to buy and what’s not doing so well! He also looks back at Anita Manning’s visit to a restorer of antique furniture in London and Christina Trevanion’s chat with a craftsman who makes Windsor chairs.
