A celebration of Spitting Image with those behind it, and the songs of Burt Bacharach.

It's been a year since the passing of songwriting legend Burt Bacharach. Nicola chats to Horse McDonald, who opened for Burt when he played in Scotland in the 90s. Horse and a stellar line up of Scottish talent – including Blue Rose Code and Karine Polwart – are teaming up for a special series of concerts across the country. 

Lesley McDowell’s book Clairemont is a bold new retelling of the story of Lord Byron and the Shelleys, from the perspective of Claire Claremont – a fascinating woman that history tried to forget. She shares what she learned about the woman behind it all. 

The latest Single of the Week comes from vocalist and songwriter Silvi - she is catching up with Nicola. 

It's 40 years to the day since the satirical TV comedy Spitting Image first aired. Two of the voices from those different incarnations of the show - impressionists Rory Bremner and Jess Robinson, take a trip down memory lane.  

Film critics Amber WIlkinson and Eddie Harrison review the profanity-filled Wicked Little Letters - a comedy based on a fascinating true story, starring Olivia Coleman and Jessie Buckley.
