Islay-born artist Heather Dewar returns to our screens with Dealbhan Fraoich. Combining the role of artist and interviewer, she creates colour portraits of well-known Gaels – while teasing out of them every little detail of their life story!  

In this programme, Heather meets and draws former CEO of An Comunn Gaidhealach, John Morrison, who is originally from Ness but now living in Broughty Ferry. John opens up to Heather about his recent health scare experience.

Heather takes some time away from the studio to visit one of Rembrandt’s self portraits, at the National gallery in Edinburgh.
