The top US official says Palestinians must not be pressured into leaving Gaza.

US Secretary of State Antony Blinken says Palestinians must not be pressured into leaving Gaza, and must be allowed to return to their homes once conditions allow.

The US Secretary of State Antony Blinken is travelling around the Middle East to try to prevent the war in Gaza from spreading in the region. He condemned statements by some Israeli ministers, who called for the resettlement of Palestinians elsewhere.

Bangladesh's Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has won re-election for a fourth term, after the poll was boycotted by the main opposition party.
