Now, as the star of the sword-and-sandle epic Gladiator, Hollywood actor Russell Crowe is no stranger to blood-soaked plots. Now the actor has revealed that his real life family history was equally dramatic. He's traced his roots back to a notorious Jacobite lord, known as The Old Fox, who was the last person to be beheaded in England. Writing on X, the New Zealand born actor said he was related to Simon Fraser, 11th Lord Lovat, who was executed for high treason at the Tower of London.
