Rhianna Pratchett tells Nicola about her new series, Mythical Creatures, which saw her head to Scotland to find out about the Redcap goblins on the Scottish borders.
 
Nicola also chats to Welsh actor Paul Rhys who stars in Men Up, the new BBC drama which is inspired by the true story of a medical trial for the drug that became Viagra.
 
Brian Bilston returns with his signature wit in his new Poetry collection, And So This is Christmas, fifty-one poems in celebration of the festive season. He shares the inspiration behind it, from bizarre family traditions to the office Christmas party, from voting day for turkeys to the impossible art of gift-giving.

And for Tuesday Review, critics Paul Whitelaw and Jenny Niven give their verdicts on Mark Gatiss’ adaptation of A Ghost Story for Christmas: Lot No.249, The Wombles, which has returned in a new soundscape for Christmas 50 years on since their debut, and Sky’s festive adventure The Heist Before Christmas, starring Timothy Spall and James Nesbitt.
