BBC Upload with Adam Crowther featuring some Christmas themed creations from the uploader.
Jayne Woodhouse from Salisbury has updated the familiar carol In The Bleak Midwinter for 2023 in which she reflects issues of the year nationally and globally. Sharon Webster from Cheltenham uploaded her fun poem about what it would be like to be a sprout at Christmas. From Churchdown in Gloucestershire, Jodie Duffy has uploaded a poem that is about making a bauble with her baby daughter's hand and foot prints when she was just a few weeks old and how delicate both her daughter and the bauble were. There's also a poem about the tradition of Tom Bawcock Eve in the village of Mousehole in Cornwall that's been written by Backwell based poet Tina M Edwards.
Aside from Christmas there's a Wild-West themed audio drama from Bridgwater based Alexander Butter that's part of a podcast he's put together. Poetry from Cheltenham based secondary school English teacher Mr Mountain (don't tell the kids his name is Dan) about the most frustrating question teachers get asked - "But When Will I Ever Need to Know This, Sir?" as well as poetry from Clevedon poet Peter Gibbs which looks at the scenes from Gaza and Israel. Plus, stand up comedy from Bristol based Joseph O'Connor about phrases that we use that make no sense!
