Lauren brings you her Christmas party live from the BBC's Maida Vale studios, with The Staves performing a very special festive concert.

Lauren gets you into the festive spirit with her very own Christmas party, coming live from the BBC's legendary Maida Vale studios.

After returning as a duo this year with new music on Communion Records, The Staves will be performing a very special Christmas concert live on the show. Now a duo of Jess and Camilla Staveley-Taylor, the band will be performing new music including return single You Held It All as well as some festive classics. And they'll be joined on stage by some good musical friends as we get closer to the big day.

Lauren will also be joined by fellow 6 Music presenter Huw Stephens, who'll be offering some rare Christmas jams from his extensive collection ahead of starting his new daily show in January 2024.

Professor Hannah Fry will be diving into The Christ-maths Of Life, looking at some of the fascinating facts and figures around this time of year, and it's the much-anticipated return of the People's Sleighlist with all the Yuletide bangers picked by you.
