Cherry Valentine tries to unite her Queer and Gypsy identities to become proud of both.

Cherry Valentine (Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK series two contestant) tries to reconnect with her traveller roots and discover if it’s possible to be a gay gypsy, a drag queen and proud.

At 18, George Ward left the Gypsy community. He’d felt rejected having come out as gay. Leaving his gypsy identity behind, he invented Cherry Valentine - a drag alter-ego. Now, he wants to find out if he can be accepted as a queer gypsy and feel proud.
