Nicola hears from Scottish artist Victoria Crowe and Leslie Hills discusses her new book.

Nicola is joined by the newly appointed National Library of Scotland Galloway Scots Scriever, Susi Briggs, who will be talking about how she intends to promote the Scots language around the country in the coming year, as well as to Shane Strachan, the former Doric Scriever, about his work over the past twelve months.  

Film and documentary producer Leslie Hills talks to Nicola about the extraordinary history of her home in Edinburgh's New Town - and its many fascinating occupants over the course of the past two centuries - which she has chronicled in her new book 10 Scotland Street. 

Acclaimed artist Victoria Crowe discusses her new exhibition of paintings of Orkney, Low Winter Sun.
