Kathy Sledge of Sister Sledge shares her precious memories of being a teenager in the 70s and the excitement of making music during the disco era as she and Spoony go back to back playing their favourite dancefloor fillers with tunes from Earth, Wind & Fire to Lou Rawls.

Kathy talks about working with Nile Rodgers and Bernard Edwards of Chic and recording legendary hits We Are Family, He's the Greatest Dancer, Thinking of You and Lost in Music, remembers her visits to notorious nightclub Studio 54, and who she'd like to collaborate with musically in the present day.

DJ Spoony also serves up two very special disco mixes to keep the Friday night vibes alive. Kicking off the show is the Good Groove 70s Disco Party Mix for kitchen discos, car seat dancing and living room sing-alongs everywhere. Then later on, our host takes to the decks live for a disco-themed Good Groove Deeper Cuts Mix, a glamorous, high-energy selection that will make you want to push back the sofa and Dance, Dance, Dance (Yowsah, Yowsah, Yowsah)!
