Global pop icon Cher is the special guest on this week's Tracks Of My Years, taking us on a journey through her six decade career as well as picking a few of her favourite Christmas songs.

Across a six decade career she’s sold over 100m records, has a trophy cabinet chock full of awards including a Grammy, an Emmy and an Oscar, and is known for her being a trendsetter, an activist, a philanthropist and just a fabulous human being.

Even at 77, she’s still capable of firsts, and she recently released her first festive album called, appropriately, Christmas. Her first new studio album in five years, it includes several holiday classics and four originals, and has a star-studded list of guests including Darlene Love, Stevie Wonder, Michael Bublé and Cyndi Lauper.

Today's Christmas choice from Cher comes from Judy Garland.
