Johnny Marr takes us on a ten song journey through his life in Tracks Of My Years.

Johnny Marr is the special guest on Tracks Of My Years, and there's more audio gold in Vernon's Vault and, of course, Vernon's mid-morning music quiz Ten To The Top.

Guitar legend and former member of The Smiths Johnny Marr picks his Tracks Of My Years all this week.

Having first found success as the guitarist and co-songwriter of The Smiths, Johnny released his first solo album The Messenger in 2013, and last month he brought us ‘Spirit Power’, his first solo compilation album, with each and every track curated by Johnny himself. And it's a boom time for Johnny's fans as he's also released a photographic book called 'Marr's Guitars', showcasing the most significant of Johnny’s collection of electric and acoustic guitars.

Today's tracks are from T.Rex and Hamilton Bohannon.
