Ahead of the release of Spirit Power: The Best of Johnny Marr, Jo is joined by the legend himself to co-host the show.

Having first found success as the guitarist and co-songwriter of the Smiths, Johnny Marr released his first solo album The Messenger in 2013, followed by Playland, Call the Comet and Fever Dreams, parts 1-4. All four albums reached the top ten in the UK album chart.

In celebration of the tenth anniversary of his solo career, Johnny’s ‘Best Of’ album Spirit Power will be released tomorrow. As well as songs from across all four albums, it includes two brand new tracks and a cover of Depeche Mode’s I Feel You. 

Johnny joins Jo to reflect on the last ten years, discuss the new project, and pick some tracks that have influenced his life.
