As the Sheku Bayoh public inquiry continues, his family are rocked by the news that key evidence will not be played, forcing them to make the difficult decision to walk out of the inquiry. Aamer works to keep the family on track and prepares Sheku’s sister, Kadi Johnson, to give her evidence. In her harrowing testimony, she sets out her experience of the days and weeks following her brother’s death.
Back at The Firm, the offices are hit by a flood, forcing Aamer and the team to relocate. The timing couldn’t be worse, but trainee Rhiannon won’t let that, or the fact that she is nine months pregnant, interfere with her work on the Bayoh public inquiry.
Meanwhile, criminal lawyer Ryan takes on a client charged with firearms offences and with very little defence against them. It’s up to Ryan to try to keep his client out of prison. Show less
