US strikes Iran-linked munition storage sites

Two F-16s targeted weapons and ammunition storage facilities near Iraqi border.

The Pentagon described them as self-defence strikes, in response to recent drone and rocket attacks against US forces in Iraq and Syria by Iranian-backed militia groups.
