Mark Radcliffe and Stuart Maconie present an audio buffet of top tunes and chat for weekend breakfast.

Today they mark the 65th anniversary of Paddington Bear with a special bear-themed show. The popular fictional bear first appeared in author Michael Bond's book ‘A Bear Called Paddington’ on 13th October 1958.  To celebrate Paddington’s anniversary, Mark and Stuart play a selection of bear-related tracks and discuss our favourite fictional bears.

Also on the show... long-running feature ‘The Chain’, which gives listeners the chance to pick a track that links in some way to the last. The list now contains over 8000 songs.

With a selection of music old and new including tracks from Friends Again, Charlotte Adigéry, Mercury Rev, James Brown, Mitski, Robyn, Arctic Monkeys, Panda Bear and The Charlatans.
