The team take an exclusive look behind the scenes at a bank’s fraud help centre, where staff are in a daily battle to try and stop customers losing thousands to scammers.

Angela Rippon, Gloria Hunniford and Julia Somerville are back in Rip Off Britain HQ, and they’re investigating how Britain is fighting back against the fraudsters.

The team, alongside Radio 4’s Moneybox reporter Dan Whitworth, take an exclusive look behind the scenes at one bank’s fraud help centre, where staff are in a daily battle to try and stop customers losing thousands to scammers.

Angela questions the government’s first anti-fraud champion on whether the measures he's taking to clamp down on spoof text messages will be enough. Also, how the cost-of-living crisis is driving a worrying rise in phoney car insurance policies, and advice and tips from Britain’s best consumer brains on how to make sure you don’t get fleeced by fraudsters.
