Angela Rippon, Gloria Hunniford and Julia Somerville kick off the series from their new HQ in Salford.

In this episode, the baffling bills leaving customers confused and out of pocket. One woman simply can’t understand how her two-bedroom flat has racked up charges of £5,000 in energy. While she’s now struggling to pay it off, the team ask if big business should be doing more to simplify our bills.

Also, the delivery disasters that meant one woman got laxatives instead of a top, and why some rural communities are still struggling with patchy broadband despite government legislation giving the right of all UK homes to decent, fast connections.
