As Scotland’s classical world launches the new concert season, Jamie MacDougall considers what the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra has planned for the coming months.  We hear the winning ‘New Music Recording’ from this year’s Scottish Awards for New Music and look ahead to events at this year’s Cumnock Tryst.  Plus Steven Osborne joins the Heath Quartet in Perth Concert Hall for a chamber music classic of the 20th century, Shostakovich’s Piano Quintet.
