Beauty develops a romance with the son of a client, Ma Lockney, a local business hero. 

Stephen appears to be a charming, English gentleman - just like the ones she has seen in the Hugh Grant films. But real life isn't always like the movies. 

Beauty of Britain is about one woman's progress through a foreign country as she searches for personal fulfilment, a sense of belonging and a pair of Jimmy Choos she can walk to church in.

The outspoken African careworker works for the Featherdown Agency in Stoke.
