Could one giraffe’s weight loss mean a crisis for the whole herd?

Kate meets a giraffe whose weight loss may hide a worrying condition. Ben finds out which eucalyptus tree koalas like best, and Jean serves up some refreshing fish lollipops.

Kate meets her namesake, Kate the giraffe, who has been losing weight and having tummy trouble. As vets try to find out what is wrong, the keepers worry that it could spell disaster for the whole herd.

Koalas are very fussy eaters, and Ben finds out why some eucalyptus leaves are better than others. Keeper Gemma is driven mad by the wild birds eating the animals' feed and stealing their fur to build nests. She goes into battle against packs of marauding crows and jackdaws.

Meanwhile, Jean Johansson is promised the spectacle of tigers swimming when keeper Ian lures them into the pond on a hot day with some fishy lollipops.
