First broadcast: on BBC Scotland HDLatest broadcast: on BBC Scotland HD

Available for 4 months

Ninety-five-year-old artist Thomas McGoran paints street scenes of Glasgow in the 1930s from memory. He gained press attention in February after the success of his exhibition at the Forge shopping centre near his home in Dennistoun. On the eve of exhibiting his art in Glasgow city centre at SoGo Arts Gallery, we go behind the scenes and film him painting at home, where Thomas tells us about his incredible life and what motivates him to paint – and shares with us his evocative work.
