The governor of Hawaii says fires caused at least six billion dollars' worth of damage

The governor of Hawaii, Josh Green, tells a news conference that at least six billion dollars' worth of damage had been done by the wildfires.

At least 89 people are now known to have been killed by wildfires on the Hawaiian island of Maui. That makes it the deadliest disaster of its kind in the United States for more than a century.
