The actor Brian Cox – star of the drama Succession – sits down with Amol Rajan to reveal the secrets of the show and what took him from poverty in Dundee all the way to Hollywood.

The award-winning theatre, television and film actor reveals what really happens on set, his thoughts on the method acting technique used by one of his co-stars, and his best and worst moments since the show first aired in 2018.

Cox also takes Rajan behind the curtain of a remarkable theatre career that has seen him work with some of the greatest actors in history, and master many of Shakespeare's greatest characters.

As Rajan delves into the past, Cox tells his own dramatic story. How as the son of a shopkeeper father who died young, and a mother who faced mental health issues, he found solace first watching movies in the cinema and then acting on the stage.
