Wes Anderson’s new film Asteroid City stars Tom Hanks, Scarlett Johansson, Jason Schwartzman and Margot Robbie, and is set in a tiny American desert town in the 1950s as it hosts a space convention. But the arrival of an alien forces the government to quarantine Asteroid City, throwing the characters' lives into chaos. Film critics Paul Gallagher and Wendy Lloyd join Paul for a review.

Author Sarah Thomas discusses The Raven’s Nest, a moving memoir about resilience and learning to belong, set in the dramatic landscape of Iceland’s Westfjords.

The programme for this year’s Edinburgh Art Festival launches today and Director Kim McAleese joins Paul to talk about how the festival is breaking new ground this year.

Tuesday Review: TV critic and broadcaster Scott Bryan, and writer and performer Jay Lafferty will be giving their thoughts on:

-Black Mirror (Season 6): Charlie Brooker’s genre-bending anthology series.

-Ruby Speaking: a new Bristol-set  comedy starring comedian Jayde Adams as  Ruby, who is in danger of losing her job at call centre Hellocom because she spends her time trying to solve customers’ problems, rather than trying to sell them ever more expensive TV and broadband packages.
